The bad news is that these settings are annoying if turned on for users who do not need them.<\/p>\n<h3>Turn on\/off accessibility features<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Sign in to your Chromebook.<\/li>\n<li>Click the status area, where your account picture appears.<\/li>\n<li>Select <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Show advanced settings<\/strong> at the bottom of the page.<\/li>\n<li>In the &#8220;Accessibility&#8221; section, select\/deselect the boxes next to:\n<ul>\n<li>Make the cursor bigger (so it&#8217;s more visible on the screen)<\/li>\n<li>Turn on high contrast mode (makes the screen easier to read)<\/li>\n<li>Turn on spoken feedback (describes what is happening on the screen)<\/li>\n<li>Turn on sticky keys (allows shortcut keys to be typed in sequence, without pressing modifier keys at the same time)<\/li>\n<li>Turn on the screen magnifier (enlarges items on the screen)<\/li>\n<li>Automatically click when the cursor stops (click without using your mouse)<\/li>\n<li>Turn on the on-screen keyboard (shows a keyboard that can be clicked with a mouse)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>After you&#8217;ve turned on accessibility features, you can adjust them from your keyboard:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To turn spoken feedback on or off, press <strong>Ctrl + Alt + Z<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>To magnify the screen, press <strong>Ctrl + Alt + Brightness up<\/strong> or <strong>Brightness down<\/strong> (or use <strong>Ctrl<\/strong> + <strong>Alt<\/strong> + two fingers scrolling up or down on the trackpad).
