Here are a few class permissions to be aware of:<\/p>\n<div class=\"cc\">\n<ul class=\"spaced-list\">\n<li>Only the primary teacher can delete a class.<\/li>\n<li>The primary teacher cannot unenroll or be removed from a class.<\/li>\n<li>Additional teachers cannot be muted in a class.<\/li>\n<li>The primary teacher and additional teachers are notified of students\u2019 private comments if\u00a0email notifications\u00a0are on.<\/li>\n<li>The primary teacher owns all class materials, including Google Drive assignment folders, submitted assignments, and templates. The primary teacher\u2019s class and assignment folders are shared with additional teachers in Drive. If the primary teacher changes their folder structure, additional teachers might lose access to student work submitted before the additional teachers feature launched.<\/li>\n<li>Materials that additional teachers add to assignments or posts are shared and available in the primary teacher\u2019s class and assignment folders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol class=\"spaced-list\">\n<li>Sign in to Classroom at <a href=\"https:\/\/classroom.google.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">classroom.google.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Click the class you want to add teachers to.<\/li>\n<li>At the top of the\u00a0class stream, click <strong>About<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Invite Teacher<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-383\" src=\"http:\/\/www.chelseaschools.com\/kbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/inviteteacher.png\" alt=\"inviteteacher\" width=\"518\" height=\"305\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.cpskb.com\/kbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/inviteteacher.png 518w, https:\/\/www.cpskb.com\/kbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/inviteteacher-300x177.png 300w, https:\/\/www.cpskb.com\/kbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/inviteteacher-50x29.png 50w, https:\/\/www.cpskb.com\/kbase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/04\/inviteteacher-320x188.png 320w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 518px) 100vw, 518px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Do one of the following:\n<ol>\n<li>Check the box next to the teacher you want to invite.<\/li>\n<li>Check the <strong>Select all<\/strong> box to invite all the teachers listed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>(Optional) To see other contact lists, click <strong>My contacts<\/strong>. You can also search for people by name.<\/li>\n<li>(Optional)\u00a0Check the box next to any additional teacher you want to invite and click <strong>Next<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Click <strong>Invite<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"tip\">\n<p>Invited teachers receive an email invitation. Email invitations are fine for teachers (as opposed to students), because though Gmail is disabled, email will still be delivered to @chelseaschools.com addresses, so teachers will receive the invitations at their district email address. To join the class, the invited teacher must click a link in the email or sign in to Classroom and click <strong>Accept<\/strong> on the class card.
