Description: The course uses the Reveal math curriculum to develop skills around collaboration, learning content through exploration, fluency of skills and deep conceptual understanding. Modules include expressions, one variable equations, functions, linear and nonlinear equations, linear inequalities, systems of equations, exponents and roots, exponential functions, polynomials, quadratics, and statistics. This course is designed to help students make the transition from concrete thinking to abstract thinking and develop problem-solving techniques that are relevant to all topics. Throughout this course, students will revisit core pre-algebra skills and concepts as they maneuver through Algebra 1 curriculum and standards.
